The Journey to Testnet (Q4, 2022 update summary)
Dear Nekozens, the first thing we want to say is a “thank you” to everyone who has been staying with Nekoverse, to share joys and sorrows in a volatile market. This will be a long post, we want to share with you our progress in making the Testnet version of Nekoverse: Elemental War.
Neko Equipment Sets
Equipment for Neko has always been something that we dream of, on this version of Nekoverse Testnet we’re finally able to put this to the game.
Up till now, 18 sets of equipment have been completed and are ready to be in the game. You will find 13 sets in the upcoming Testnet, 4 of them were teased and 9 left are waiting for you to explore.
- Each set of equipment contains 4 pieces: Arm/Weapon — Top/Hat — Back — Accessory
- A complete set gives you an extra skill — the Rage skill
- Each set has 3 tiers of upgrade and 12 levels of enhancement.
There will be 5 sets of equipment that won’t be revealed in the Testnet, those mystery sets will be hidden in special events in the Mainnet.
Concept Art Update
We had a new art team!
The Nekoverse is built upon the emotion of every Nekozen, therefore, we have found people who can bring inspiration throughout the Nekoverse through the art that appears in the game.
The soul of the Nekoverse will now become more vivid than ever when the art style and the lore will now be coordinated thoroughly.

Lore of World
We created lore for the game, every realm, land, and class has a story.
Nekoland formed in an area filled with elemental magic. In Nekoland, there are 8 areas, 7 elemental areas including The Frostland (Ice), the Remedy Wood (Nature), the Foothills of Honor (Earth), the Thunderplace (Lightning), Inferno Highlands (Fire), Neverest Peninsula (Water), Svarga (Psychic) and the 8th is Great city of Nekoland (The capital).
The land was created by the Triad Gods for thousands of years, and maintained by generations of the Royal Family….

Shop & Marketplace
1/ Shop:
The journey will challenge players to be better every day. The shop is the place where players can buy potions, non-NFT Nekos and items with Neko Coins so that they can be prepared for every battle.
2/ Marketplace: Nekoverse offers a fully player-driven economy, which means that all the assets in the game will be given to players through their progress in the game. The item supply and item demand in Nekoverse will be met in the Marketplace — where the value will be determined by players. That’s how the economy is determined as “player-driven”.
Technical Update
- Wallet connect: Players can now use Phantom or Neko Wallet to connect to the game.
- Testnet token: since all the data in the game will be reset when Testnet end, we will use the devnet token to stimulate the economy in Nekoverse. Players will use devnet $ASG in the Testnet.
- Implement NPC storyteller.
- Implement Daily Dungeon and World Event modes.
- Implement Skill tree.
- Implement Equipment and rage skills.
- Implement Craft, Enhance and Upgrade.
