Testnet Launch — Nekoverse: Elemental Wars

First, we would like to show our appreciation to the community, especially to those who participated in the Alpha Test. Thanks to you, our team can collect insightful knowledge to build up the upcoming version of the Nekoverse. Welcome to Testnet!

I. About Testnet

The Testnet is the final phase for our team to verify the operation of the game’s logic before the Mainnet. There are three main objectives that we would like to observe: the game’s experience, the player-driven economy and the game’s design.

• New game modes
• New UI
• New skill model
• Equipment & crafting
• Character customization
• The simulation of the Player-driven economy

II. Timeline

The game will be released in batches, the 1st Batch will open at 12:00 UTC on Feb 01, 2023, for the first 250 players.

The timeline of the launch:

• Launch Stream | 11:30 UTC, Feb 01, 2023:
  1. Leo (CEO) and Tyren (CMO) will share and showcase the Testnet
  2. Giveaway of 10,000 USDC. Only waitlisted users can join.
• Batch 1| 12:00 UTC, Feb 01, 2023: Open Batch 1 for the first 250 players.
  The first 250 players are hand-picked from the Nekoverse community and in the Launch Stream.
• Batch 2 | ? Unknown: The timeline and details for Batch 2 will be announced in the Launch Stream
• Batch 3 | ? Unknown
• Batch 4 | ? Unknown

Why do we let players join Testnet through batches?
We think that it is necessary to honor members who put in effort and contribution to the Nekoverse. There must be a privilege for members who have always been with us, and stand by our side through the bear market. And also to the new members who are willing to get to know about Nekoverse and the people here. The more active you are, the sooner you get to play.

What is the benefit of joining the Testnet early?
The farming process starts from day 1, the sooner you are in, the more time you can farm resources and join early events to earn $ASG. Since the power of your team will heavily rely on the equipment you have, you will surely have some advantage in the early phase when your equipment is advanced compared to players who come later.

III. Pool prize detail

There will be a total prize pool of 5 Million $ASG for Testnet players, we will snapshot the leaderboard of each Fatal Tower and World Boss event to reward the players when the Mainnet launch (the reward will be distributed separately from the game). We will have a public leaderboard when the 1st event ends.

The $ASG you earn in Nekoverse’s Testnet is just a Testnet token and will be reset when Mainnet launch. The Testnet lets players earn Testnet $ASG in the game so players can fully experience the game design, which can be spent to enhance & upgrade equipment.

So don’t be shy to use your Testnet $ASG to make your equipment stronger, this will help you compete with others in the Event. After all, your ranking in the Event will decide your reward in the Retro-active program in Mainnet.

You can earn the rewards in the World Events with 2 game modes:

1/ Fatal Tower:

• Fatal Tower is a P2P simulation game mode, following a ladder model
• The top 200 players earn the rewards, we will snapshot the top 200 of each Fatal Tower
• Fatal Tower is open to everyone 2 days per week

2/ World Boss

• World Boss is a game mode in which all players in the server hand-joint to beat the World Boss
• World Boss requires an Event ticket to join, you can earn it at our community events.
• World Boss rewards are given out based on the % damage contributed by each player to the boss.

IV. Testnet Waitlist Privilege

Waitlisted players have two major benefits:

• Can join in early Batches

• Join the Raffle Giveaway of 10,000 USDC in Launch Stream
