The Nekoverse was built with a vision that the whole in-game economy will function based on the player. Nekoverse is dedicated to the idea of Web3 space, where the player’s effort in the game will have real value and belong to the player.

1. Game Loop

The Game Loop is simple: Fighting → Collecting → Crafting → Equipping → Earning → Repeat

  1. Playing and collecting: The first thing that you will do is play the game, Nekoverse leads you through many battles with the enemy, monsters and bosses. By defeating enemies and exploring realms in Nekoverse, players can collect materials (stones, woods, coins, scrolls, etc. )
  2. You start to create more assets: When you have enough materials, you can come to Craft to create your own equipment by burning the materials. The materials which are already limited now are even scarcer every time a player crafts.
  3. The earning part: With the newly crafted Equipment, you can increase the stats of your Neko and continue to progress in the game with more challenging modes like World Event to earn $ASG.
All materials and equipment can be sold in the marketplace to other players; the utility of Neko and equipment increases as you play, increasing their value in the marketplace. In Nekoverse, all players need resources from others to progress by trading P2P, Nekoverse has an in-game market for that. The assets you own become the source of a new revenue stream, enabling users to fully monetize their time in-game.

Value is created by players and returns to players

2. Player-driven Economy Overview

In short, the player-driven economy focuses on capturing value in-game assets and facilitating trading activities between players and grows based on the increasing demand for game assets. Value is created by players and returns to players.

The economy of Nekoverse is designed to optimally reduce the economy’s dependence on its token, so incentives for players won’t just be the token but also the opportunities to own, utilize and trade the game assets.

Game Modes

In Nekoverse, there are different game modes and features for players to explore, together they form the Core Game Loop of Nekoverse.

(1) World Map where players earn EXP to level up their characters
(2) Daily Dungeon where players gather uncommon resources
(3) World Event where players compete and earn $ASG

Craft & Update

After collecting enough materials, players can come to Crafting and craft their own equipment to increase Neko stats and learn new skills.

Each set of equipment has its own Rage Skill that a single piece cannot have.

Limited material & game assets

The first rule of the Nekoverse resource system is that all game assets have a limited supply, which means equipment also has a limited supply as they need to be crafted from game materials.

By crafting equipment, players also burn materials in crafting, making them even scarcer.

How can a player obtain materials?

  1. Collect in Gameplay: Story mode, Daily Dungeon, Fatal tower and World boss
  2. In-game P2P marketplace: Buy materials from other players in Nekoverse in-game P2P marketplace

How can a player obtain equipment?

  1. Crafting: Craft equipment using materials and Neko coins as a crafting fee
  2. In-game P2P marketplace: Buy equipment from other players in Nekoverse in-game P2P marketplace
  3. Solana marketplaces: Equipment can be converted to NFT and traded outside of the game (future update)

How can a player obtain Neko?

  1. In-game P2P marketplace: Buy Neko from other players in Nekoverse in-game P2P marketplace
  2. Solana marketplaces: Buy Neko in Magic Eden and Fractal
  3. Breeding (Future update): You can create a brand new Neko by breeding two Neko on our breeding page.

Value is stacked into game assets

The whole game system & mechanic is designed to build up value & demand for game assets and encourage players to trade their assets.

As players make progress in Nekoverse, they level up, build up their Neko characters and upgrade their equipment. All of this in-game data is stored and always attached to the game assets.

  • Neko value can increase as it can level up, giving better stats
  • Equipment value can increases as it can be upgraded to a higher tier, giving better stats
  • Equipment value can increases as it can acquire new skills, giving combat advantage and enabling new combat strategy.
  • Equipment value can increases as it can have visual upgrades in higher tiers, giving a better visual effect and updating the NFT’s image (future update)

The $ASG token

Token symbol

  • $ASG

Utility

  • $ASG is Nekoverse’s utility token that can be used to enhance equipment. $ASG is rewarded to players who join World Event

Supply

  • $ASG doesn’t have a maximum supply.
  • $ASG is created in World Events and the amount of $ASG in each event is determined based on the total amount of players.

Inflation mechanism

  • The deflation mechanism of $ASG is that $ASG sink will always come first of $ASG emission, players need to burn $ASG to enhance & upgrade to join World Events to get $ASG.
  • As the number of players increases, the demand for $ASG also increases because $ASG is required to enhance & upgrade equipment.

$ASG emission

  • World Events

$ASG sink

  • Enhance & Upgrade & Shop
  • Breeding

Breeding (Future update)

Players can breed two Nekos together to create a dual-element Nekos. Parents are not consumed for breeding.

Breeding consumes Soul stone (farmable materials) and uses $ASG and $USDC as fees.

Shop & Marketplace

Building toward a full Player-driven economy, we made game materials, equipment and Neko limited. This means that most of the value is now created and returned to the players.

All materials, equipment and new Neko characters created by players are tradeable between player-to-player.
